CAMPRO®
CAM-IRR Paint

Near-Infrared Signature Control
Reduces detection across the visual and near-infrared bands.
Visual
NIR

CAMPRO® CAM-IRR Paint is a specialized near-infrared reflective (NIR) coating that reduces visibility under night vision and infrared surveillance. Essential for stealth applications in low-light environments — designed for bunkers, watchtowers, barracks, hangars, and perimeter walls.

Performance figures are nominal and configuration-dependent. Defence-export inquiries are subject to Indian export-control approval (FTDR Act 1992 · SCOMET); supply requires a valid End-User Certificate and is not available to sanctioned or embargoed destinations. This is not an offer to sell.

Infrared-reflective camouflage paint, in short

Infrared-reflective camouflage paint — also called NIR-reflective paint or IRR paint — is a military coating whose reflectance in the near-infrared band (about 700–1400 nm, the band night-vision devices see) is matched to natural backgrounds such as vegetation and soil, so a painted surface does not show as a dark shape at night. CAMPRO® CAM-IRR Paint is that coating, manufactured in New Delhi by Motley Exim Co.: a PU-based near-infrared reflective paint in olive green, light olive green, beige, brown, middle stone, slate gray and other defence shades, for bunkers, watchtowers, barracks, hangars and perimeter walls. Each shade is matched for colour and for near-infrared reflectance together, and NABL lab test reports are available on request. Supply follows Indian export-control approval with a valid End-User Certificate. Sister coatings: anti-thermal paint for thermal imagers and anti-radar paint for radar; the camouflage paint overview explains which coating answers which sensor.

Counters — near-infrared threat

Engineered against near-infrared detection: image-intensified night vision such as the AN/PVS-14, 1064 nm laser designation, and the near-infrared sensors that read reflectance contrast. Built to conform near-infrared reflectance so a marked asset does not stand out to this class of sensor. This page publishes no product performance figures; specifications are provided per requirement under NDA and export-control screening.

How to read an infrared-reflective paint specification

Many paints are sold as “IR” or “infrared”. These are the questions that show what a coating was actually built and tested for:

What to send for a quote: the surfaces and substrate, the area, the shades and terrain, the sensors you face, and the destination and end user. Detailed specifications are released only after export-control screening.

Which coating for which sensor: the camouflage paint overview; the physics: infrared reflectance explained.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is CAMPRO® CAM-IRR Paint?

Near-infrared reflective (NIR) coating for night vision and IR surveillance evasion. PU base, defense-grade, made in India. NABL tested.

Is CAMPRO® CAM-IRR Paint available for export?

Yes — subject to Indian export-control approval. Motley Exim Co. is a DGFT-registered exporter (IEC 05●●●●●●●●) operating under the FTDR Act 1992 and the SCOMET framework. Supply requires a valid End-User Certificate and is not available to sanctioned or embargoed destinations. This page is not an offer to sell.

What certifications and testing does CAMPRO® CAM-IRR Paint carry?

Motley Exim Co. operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality-management system; products are NABL-tested and reference DGQA and DGNAI standards, and are manufactured in India. Full test reports and certificates are available on request.

How do I request a quote or customisation for CAMPRO® CAM-IRR Paint?

Submit an inquiry through the contact form or WhatsApp with your configuration, quantity and destination. Quotes are prepared per requirement (size, pattern and specification are customisable) and defence-procurement inquiries are typically acknowledged within 48 hours, subject to export-control screening.

What is NIR camo?

NIR camo is concealment in the near-infrared band (~700–1400 nm) that night-vision devices and low-light cameras see. Vegetation reflects strongly in NIR, so a surface needs controlled infrared reflectance to match its background. CAM-IRR provides that reflectance-matched NIR camo as a coating.

Is CAM-IRR the same as Infrared Reflective Camouflage Paint (IRCP)?

Yes. CAMPRO® CAM-IRR is an infrared-reflective camouflage paint (IRCP) — a near-infrared (NIR) reflective coating that helps match an asset's signature to its background under night-vision and IR observation.

What is infrared-reflective camouflage paint?

Infrared-reflective camouflage paint (NIR-reflective or IRR paint) is a military coating whose reflectance in the near-infrared band, about 700–1400 nm, is matched to natural backgrounds such as vegetation and soil. Night-vision devices see that band, so a surface painted in an ordinary colour can look right by day and show as a dark shape at night; an IRR paint is matched for colour and near-infrared reflectance together. CAMPRO® CAM-IRR Paint is this type of coating.

Who manufactures NIR-reflective camouflage paint in India?

Motley Exim Co. manufactures CAMPRO® CAM-IRR Paint in New Delhi, India: a PU-based near-infrared reflective camouflage coating in olive green, light olive green, beige, brown, middle stone, slate gray and other defence shades, NABL-tested with lab reports available on request. Supply follows Indian export-control approval with a valid End-User Certificate; send the substrate, area, shades and destination on WhatsApp or to [email protected] for a quote.

Which shades is CAM-IRR Paint available in?

Olive green, light olive green, beige, brown, middle stone, slate gray and other defence shades on request. Each shade is matched for colour and for near-infrared reflectance, because a shade that matches the eye alone can still stand out under night vision.

What is the difference between IRR paint and anti-thermal paint?

IRR (infrared-reflective) paint controls how a surface reflects near-infrared light, which is what night-vision devices see. Anti-thermal paint controls surface emissivity, which is what thermal imagers see. They address different sensors and are often layered: CAM-IRR as the base colours, anti-thermal treatment over heat sources.

How is infrared reflectance verified?

In an accredited laboratory, on the applied and dried coating, with reflectance measured across the stated near-infrared band for each shade and the test method named in the report. For CAM-IRR, NABL lab test reports are available on request; detailed figures follow export-control screening.
