CAMPRO®
Anti-Thermal Paint

Thermal Signature Management
Manages emissivity across the visual and thermal-infrared bands.
Visual
TIR

CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint is a thermal-signature management coating that reduces the infrared and thermal return of military assets — vehicles, bunkers, and field equipment — to thermal imagers. It also conceals immobile assets like bunkers, watchtowers, and hangars by disrupting thermal and infrared imaging.

Performance figures are nominal and configuration-dependent. Defence-export inquiries are subject to Indian export-control approval (FTDR Act 1992 · SCOMET); supply requires a valid End-User Certificate and is not available to sanctioned or embargoed destinations. This is not an offer to sell.

Anti-thermal paint, in short

Anti-thermal paint is a thermal-camouflage coating that manages the surface emissivity of a vehicle, bunker or piece of equipment, so it presents a lower, broken-up heat signature to thermal imagers in the mid-wave (3–5 µm) and long-wave (8–14 µm) infrared bands. CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint is manufactured in New Delhi by Motley Exim Co.: a PU-based coating with a tunable 0.3–0.8 emissivity range, applied to rifles, BMPs, tanks and other military vehicles and to immobile assets such as bunkers, watchtowers and hangars. It changes how a surface gives off heat rather than cooling the asset, so it works together with source-heat management and cover. NABL lab test reports are available on request; supply follows Indian export-control approval with a valid End-User Certificate. Sister coatings: CAM-IRR paint for night-vision devices and anti-radar paint for radar; the mechanism is explained in the anti-thermal & IR camouflage pillar.

Why Anti-Thermal Paint

Key Capabilities

01

Thermal Camouflage

Significantly disrupts thermal and infrared imaging of military assets, making targets difficult to identify or engage.

02

Emissivity Control

Tunable 0.3–0.8 emissivity range for fine-grained thermal signature management across operational scenarios.

03

Mobile Asset Ready

Engineered for elevated-temperature assets: rifles, BMPs, tanks, and other military vehicles on active deployment.

04

Static Asset Concealment

Also effective on immobile infrastructure — bunkers, watchtowers, barracks, hangars, and sheds.

05

Battlefield Survivability

Alters the shape and appearance of assets on thermal imagers, reducing detectability and enhancing operational secrecy.

06

Made in India

Designed and manufactured in India. NABL lab test reports available on request for verified performance data.

Counters — thermal threat

Engineered against thermal detection: infrared search-and-track such as OLS-35 and PIRATE, imaging-IR seekers such as AIM-9X and the FGM-148 Javelin, and uncooled thermal weapon sights such as the AN/PAS-13. Built to manage the thermal signature this class of sensor reads. This page publishes no product performance figures; specifications are provided per requirement under NDA and export-control screening.

How to read an anti-thermal paint specification

“Thermal” and “anti-infrared” are used loosely. These are the questions that show what a coating was actually built and tested for:

What to send for a quote: the platform or structure, the substrate and area, the thermal sensors you face, the emissivity target if specified, and the destination and end user. Detailed specifications are released only after export-control screening.

The physics behind the band: anti-thermal & IR camouflage; the number that drives the picture: emissivity explained.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint?

PU-based thermal camouflage coating for rifles, tanks, BMPs, bunkers and hangars. Disrupts thermal and IR imaging.

Is CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint available for export?

Yes — subject to Indian export-control approval. Motley Exim Co. is a DGFT-registered exporter (IEC 05●●●●●●●●) operating under the FTDR Act 1992 and the SCOMET framework. Supply requires a valid End-User Certificate and is not available to sanctioned or embargoed destinations. This page is not an offer to sell.

What certifications and testing does CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint carry?

Motley Exim Co. operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality-management system; products are NABL-tested and reference DGQA and DGNAI standards, and are manufactured in India. Full test reports and certificates are available on request.

How do I request a quote or customisation for CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint?

Submit an inquiry through the contact form or WhatsApp with your configuration, quantity and destination. Quotes are prepared per requirement (size, pattern and specification are customisable) and defence-procurement inquiries are typically acknowledged within 48 hours, subject to export-control screening.

Is this paint a form of anti-thermal camouflage?

Yes. CAMPRO Anti-Thermal Paint is anti-thermal camouflage applied as a coating: it manages the surface's thermal signature so vehicles, bunkers and equipment present a reduced, less recognisable return to thermal imagers — the coating layer of a complete anti-thermal camouflage stack.

What is anti-thermal paint?

Anti-thermal paint is a thermal-camouflage coating that manages the surface emissivity of a vehicle, bunker or piece of equipment, so it presents a lower, broken-up heat signature to thermal imagers in the mid-wave and long-wave infrared bands. It changes how a surface gives off heat rather than cooling the asset, so it is used together with source-heat management and cover. CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint is this type of coating.

Who manufactures anti-thermal paint in India?

Motley Exim Co. manufactures CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint in New Delhi, India: a PU-based thermal-camouflage coating with a tunable 0.3–0.8 emissivity range for rifles, BMPs, tanks, military vehicles, bunkers, watchtowers and hangars, NABL-tested with lab reports available on request. Supply follows Indian export-control approval with a valid End-User Certificate; send the platform, area and destination on WhatsApp or to [email protected] for a quote.

What does the 0.3–0.8 emissivity range mean?

Emissivity runs from 0 to 1 and describes how efficiently a surface radiates heat compared with a perfect emitter at the same temperature; a thermal imager reads radiated heat, so a lower-emissivity surface appears cooler than its real temperature. CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint can be formulated between 0.3 and 0.8 to suit the asset and the background it must sit against. Figures are nominal and configuration-dependent.

Is anti-thermal paint the same as infrared-reflective (IRR) paint?

No. Anti-thermal paint manages emissivity, which thermal imagers read; IRR paint such as CAM-IRR manages near-infrared reflectance, which night-vision devices read. They address different sensors and are often layered on the same platform.
