FIRE ARMOR®
Coating

FIRE ARMOR® Coating is a heat-activated passive fire-suppression coating available in spray- and brush-applied forms. When ambient temperature reaches the activation threshold, the coating releases extinguishing agents directly at the ignition source — no human intervention, no electrical power, no detection-system dependency.

Performance figures are nominal and configuration-dependent. Defence-export inquiries are subject to Indian export-control approval (FTDR Act 1992 · SCOMET); supply requires a valid End-User Certificate and is not available to sanctioned or embargoed destinations. This is not an offer to sell.

Fire suppression coating, in short

A fire suppression coating is a passive coating that suppresses a fire at the point where it starts. FIRE ARMOR® Coating is heat-activated: when the ambient temperature reaches the activation threshold, the microencapsulated extinguishing agents built into the coating release directly at the ignition source — no electrical power, no detection system, no human intervention. It is manufactured in India by Motley Exim Co. and applied by spray or brush to military vehicle engine compartments and fuel cells, battery banks, electrical panels and server rooms. It works by a different mechanism from an intumescent coating, which swells into an insulating char to protect the surface beneath: FIRE ARMOR® releases extinguishing agents at the ignition source. The same system comes as a pad, sticker and tape for equipment, high-risk zones and cable runs. Performance figures are nominal and configuration-dependent; supply follows Indian export-control approval with a valid End-User Certificate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is FIRE ARMOR® Coating — Heat-Activated Fire Suppression for Broad Surfaces?

FIRE ARMOR® Coating: heat-activated passive fire suppression that deploys extinguishing agents directly at ignition source.

Is FIRE ARMOR® Coating — Heat-Activated Fire Suppression for Broad Surfaces available for export?

Yes — subject to Indian export-control approval. Motley Exim Co. is a DGFT-registered exporter (IEC 05●●●●●●●●) operating under the FTDR Act 1992 and the SCOMET framework. Supply requires a valid End-User Certificate and is not available to sanctioned or embargoed destinations. This page is not an offer to sell.

What certifications and testing does FIRE ARMOR® Coating — Heat-Activated Fire Suppression for Broad Surfaces carry?

Motley Exim Co. operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality-management system; products are NABL-tested and reference DGQA and DGNAI standards, and are manufactured in India. Full test reports and certificates are available on request.

How do I request a quote or customisation for FIRE ARMOR® Coating — Heat-Activated Fire Suppression for Broad Surfaces?

Submit an inquiry through the contact form or WhatsApp with your configuration, quantity and destination. Quotes are prepared per requirement (size, pattern and specification are customisable) and defence-procurement inquiries are typically acknowledged within 48 hours, subject to export-control screening.

Is FIRE ARMOR® Coating a fire suppression coating for military vehicles?

Yes. FIRE ARMOR® Coating is a heat-activated passive fire-suppression coating applied by spray or brush to military vehicle engine compartments and fuel cells, as well as battery banks, electrical panels and server rooms. When the ambient temperature reaches the activation threshold it releases extinguishing agents directly at the ignition source, without electrical power, a detection system or human intervention.

How is FIRE ARMOR® Coating different from an intumescent coating?

An intumescent coating swells into a thick, charred, insulating foam when heated, protecting the surface beneath. FIRE ARMOR® Coating works by a different mechanism: microencapsulated extinguishing agents release directly at the ignition source when the ambient temperature reaches the activation threshold, suppressing the fire where it starts.

Who manufactures FIRE ARMOR® fire suppression coating?

Motley Exim Co. manufactures FIRE ARMOR® in India as a coating, pad, sticker and tape — one heat-activated passive system in four forms, for broad surfaces, critical equipment, high-risk zones and cable runs. Supply follows Indian export-control approval with a valid End-User Certificate; send the platform or compartment, surface area, quantity and destination for a quote.
